The Great I AM Flows Through My Veins
On my walk this morning I was talking to myself - it happens when you spend exorbitant time alone - reminding myself of the goodness of God. Then all of a sudden this phrase came out of my mouth:
The I AM flows through my veins, so I am.
I was stunned. I have never thought of this before. But the truth is so undeniable that it begs to be recognized for what it is, illumination straight from Jesus.
Let me put this profound statement into perspective for you.
The Great I AM flows through my veins, so I am more than a conqueror.
The Great I AM flows through my veins, so I am the righteousness of Christ.
The Great I AM flows through my veins, so I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.
The Great I AM flows through my veins, so I am healed, whole and delivered.
The Great I AM flows through my veins, so I am not afraid.
I could go all day.
Do you realize that the very life of Christ flows through you? As a new creation you have been raised to life with him and within that life, there is the power of the Star-Breather. The Great I AM who spoke the world into motion lives inside of you as a new creation and He gives you the ability to take on His name.
As any adoptive parent would, He gives you His name. I am. It's no longer about your ability to be right with God and come to the cross perfectly. It's about His ability to do it through you. It's about His perfect life, not yours. It's about Him.
That's one thing that I think as a generation we've missed.
It's not about us. It's literally His story. We just get to be a part of it for a moment of time. It's all about Him. Because He is, I am. Because He lives, I am. Because of Him, not because of anything I have done. Praise the Lord!
