STAND Retreat

You know that kind of day when you need everything to go perfectly, nothing to malfunction and everything decides that it is done working. Yeah.... Those kind of days stink. Unfortunately that is the day I am having.

Today is the day! STAND Retreat will be officially kicking off in 6 1/2 hours. I can say that I am very excited because I have been planing this day since I first started working here 8 months ago. Wow that is a long time to look forward to something :) We will be at Camp Gilead spending time praising the Lord for what he has done over the last couple of weeks in 5-Day Clubs around FL and having fun. Trust me these kids work so hard during the summer to reach kids for Christ that they need a break!

So there is a way that you can be a part of the STAND Retreat:

Here is a list of things you can be praying about during the next two days :)

Safety - We are going to be at a camp site with lots of ways to get hurt. Please be praying with us that everyone leaves unharmed. :) 

Refreshment - All these teens are going back to school on Monday and they need encouragement to continue to live for God. Please join me in praying that God would refresh their spirits and help them to continue to follow Him.

Smooth - A lot of things can go wrong at a retreat like this. Please pray that I would handle everything flexibly and that everything can go smoothly.
