I am willing.

Many times I think the world tells us that we have to be ready for something. Ready to move out, ready for the commitment of marriage, ready for change, ready for college, ready for a new job, etc. - I think that God calls us to something different though. He calls us to be willing. I don't think I would have ever been "ready" to move out on my own, or to face the challenges that he puts in my path. If I am willing then he will be able to use me.

It's funny how extremely simple things like this blow my mind.... haha I am sitting in my office right now flabbergasted by this simple truth that God has for me. If you follow my blog then you know that I wasn't ready for the new things in my life a couple of days ago but today I am willing. I know that I can never mentally prepare myself for what the Lord has for me and I know that I won't be able to see what he is doing in my heart and life so all I can do is not resist the changes that he is making inside of me.

Jesus... I am willing. I am willing to follow wherever you lead me. I know I'm not ready at all but I know that you are able to help me with that. Thanks! :)
