Yay Jesus!

I have a wonderful opportunity coming up! I get to go back to school at CMI! Yay! I did graduate and get my diploma from the Institute - so what could I possibly be going back for? To become an Instructor of Teachers Level 2! This makes me so happy and everything has been falling into place.

My IOT1 classmates :)
When I got the email inviting Instructor of Teachers Level 1 (IOT1) to come to Warrenton - I was so excited. I have just been waiting for the Lord to lead me as to what he wanted me to do and this just got plopped into my lap. Then I looked at the tuition $1000 - YIKES! I do not have that kind of money to spend on two weeks of training. Then I had the brilliant idea of staying with my relatives who live 5 minutes away! Yay Jesus - when I called Stephanie (I prayed that if this is God's will for me that she would answer the phone, she picked up on the second ring!!) she was super encouraging and told me that she and Andrew would love to host me for the two weeks - this cut my costs in half! So I emailed the registrar for more info and today when I got an email back I realized that I am too young to attend this course. But they had made an exception for me because I have taught in so many TCE 1 courses in my two years of having my IOT1 certification. Yay Jesus! I filled out my registration form and got a recommendation from another CEF staff person and here I am holding an email that says they can't wait to see me on March 2nd.

WAIT!

How did this all happen so quickly? How did I go from an email last week to being registered this week? It was all Jesus. He has been a huge part of making this all work out. Yay Jesus! I still have about $550 dollars that needs to be raised for me to attend, I know that this number doesn't intimidate God - but it scares me. I have never been rich, by any sense of the word, so when it comes to large amounts of money (which is anything over $100 ;) I am scared.

I was praying about it and Jesus said, "I've got you in the palm of my hand, don't you realize that I am yours and you are mine. Charissa, I always take care of what is mine. I always do. I'll take care of you."  And that is when I turned around and saw Matthew 6:30 hanging on my white board as God's promise to me this week. He cares about the details of my life and he will take care of them. So I don't have to worry about how the money is going to come in - I just have to trust and know that he'll take care of it. He's paved the way so far I know he'll do it again.

 Yay Jesus.
